Week 47 - Daughter Diary

I skipped the weekly update all because of planning too much and doing nothing in the end. I write or I don’t Ridhima continues to grow to be her naughtiest of self every single day. She has started to communicate her feelings quite clearly. Sitting at one place has become a matter of past she now stands up against anything she catches hold on and starts to move.

She has not seen many animals but she recognizes their voices, thanks to her grandma’s continuous training and teaching. She now spells out words clearly like 'Pa-Pa', 'Ba-Ba', 'Ma-Ma', 'Da-Di'. One more word that sounds pretty universal and that is 'Mu-M' for water. One of her cousins (Chhotu) came over last week and he bought some Oreo biscuits. Here is how she annihilated one of them, and opened her mouth to show me where it was going.

She , I think, is not comfortable swallowing hard food. She would grab anything with her first finger and the thumb and would put them into her mouth, when we see and ask her to open her mouth she would open a big mouth keeping her tongue out. She recognizes a lot of things now, you ask her to sing and she would break into one, the song would last for 2 grand seconds but she would start it must.

It is increasingly becoming difficult to keep her home in the evening when she would just demand to go out or she would just kill everyone.
