You meet new people in your new office and it takes time to get acquainted with them. I am keeping it slow in my new office and gradually getting noticed for small little things. Ridhima on the other hand does not take time getting to know people and become curious about any stranger she comes across with. She never fails to get attention on the road especially when she waves her hand to almost anyone. Everyone wants to come close to her if not smile is exchanged in almost all such encounters.
What I fail to understand is the connection that gets established through eyes between two human beings without a single word is exchanged. Can an innocence look be so powerful? What happens to this power when we grow up? Why it gets sucked out leaving us arid and insensitive?
Anyways, it was 9 when I returned home and Ridhima as usual was her best receiving me when the gate opened. I hurriedly got freshened up and took her to the terrace to enjoy some moments with my child in the gracefully lit night. Full moon was still a couple of days ahead but the Moon was at pink of his health and was almost reaching out to us leaving the unimpressive stars in the hindsight. The cool breeze coming through across the sea was casting its spell on Ridhima and she was getting dull as every moment pass. She as if comes to the terrace to enjoy, breath more and sleeps in the end.
Her sleep was interrupted though when Rinku came along to see her daughter and the moon. She was all awake all of a sudden waving her tiny little hand to call the moon (Chanda Mama) close to her. Her Grandparents have not come back from their evening walk and we could spend some quality time together at the terrace.
She sleeps early to get up early in the morning, would not wet her bed the whole night. She is growing everyday at a fast pace and so her intelligence.
