It was last Thursday when I decided that its been enough I now need to go to pune and meet my doll. In fact two dolls, both have similar innocence and a similar charm about them. The bigger doll is Rinku my wife and my baby Riddhima should I say, my little cutie pie.
It was 5.10 pm and I caught Deccan Queen from CST and left for Pune. Satish sir told me that the onboard canteen offer some excellent food and I should try the fish fry. I started reading a book called "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and could only remember to go to the train canteen after I was leaving khandal. The book was really really good. It helps you think beyond the obvious and take charge of your own fate. Robert has done a fabulous job here. Vishal my colleague has advised me to read a book " Business of the 21st Century" a month or so ago and that led me to read Robert's earlier written book "Rich Dad Poor Dad".
Pune was 40 minutes away and I dicided to see the canteen. Till the time I reahed there it was getting closed. I requested the waiter for at least a cup of tea and he obliged. The restraunt-like seating arrangement felt nice. Train was running with full speed the window curtains were struggling to fly out and in a cosy chair I was sipping my tea. All for rs 7.Yes!
I love surprises and did not tell Rinku that I was coming. It was 9.30 or something when I reached home.
My little one was comfortable in her nani's arm. Did I say she looked completely different? Her red little face had claimed her well shaped eyes, her cheeks got a round shape and her locks adorned her head and the jet black curles were reaching out to her forehead.
Frankly speaking, all this while I have been a little afraid of playing with her as she looked too delicate. But here she was growing up like a baby doll I cannot play enough with. Of course she did not like my enthusiasm in the beginning but then she was like ok.
One taste that she has developed now is she likes somebody to massage her little legs. Rinku and I took turns to do just that. At times she pressing one leg and I the other. You could see the sparkle in her eyes and wagging her tounge in happiness. But you go touch her face or her tiny belly and she would not stand.

Dear Daughter |
She would cry her heart out.
Saturday night my sister in law rocked her well and she almost slumped in a slumber. I could see that she was fast asleep and would not wake up for at least a couple of hours. They said no she will wake up immediately, within an hour. I propsed a bet of hundred buck and we left it to the little one. It was more than a hour and then everyone went to sleep. It was almost two hours she didnot blink her eyes. She was still asleep. And my daughter made me win the bet. Papa loves you baby!
It was 5 pm on sunday when I left for Mumbai. Caught Indrayani express at 6.35PM and reached mumbai at 10. Vicky had come for his exams in Mumbai. We had our dinner together and went to sleep.
