The essence of every religion on earth is peace. It pains to see people fight for supremacy of their faith. Today Ganapti festival starts and I pray Lord Ganesha to show all of us the right way to live our lives. It was planned yesterday that I will go to Pune to meet my little daughter as she has also completed her two months today. Bought a few new cloths, first gift from papa you may say, and I was good to go.
She gets changed every time I see her, eyes are taking its shape, body growing rapidly. She now plays when she wants, recognizes her mother pretty well and her Maasi. She is becoming clear about her likes and dislikes. If disturbed she does not hesitate to revolt, would not feed what come may and cry.
It was 11 PM yesterday when I took her into my arms to rock her to sleep. It took me more than 45 minutes of endless rocking and roaming when she finally gave up and started dozing. I thought I am getting the keys to handle her, I was like yes I won!

Plans are plans and they do not often work!
She had her own ways of dealing with us, as soon as I handed her over to her mother and she put her into the bed she again was all woke up and staring. And she went on to play till the wee hours of the morning. Yes! She neither cried nor complained just played the whole night keeping us on constant vigil. Rinku who did not sleep the previous night and the whole day that day cried about her helplessness. She till now has an easy way of handling her, when she cries just feeds her and she would calm down. She it seemed wanted to changed the rule of the game a little and rather played. We both played with our little girl and played till she gave up and slept in the morning.
That was a memorable night and now I realize how difficult it must have been for Rinku who has not slept much in the last two months. She hardly went out in the last many months now. Previously it was pregnancy and now the baby. How difficult it must have been for our mothers who still love us the most and we feel too complacent to express it in return. The respect is only growing. We can never be thankful enough for the pains mothers must have gone through to give us the life that we are living and enjoying. I salute!
