Week 27 - Daughter Diary

Sitting in a restaurant alone brings a lot of things into perspective. Memories gush in and out of your head like crazy. The only thing suffers is the food staring at you with utter dismay. This blog is still about my daughter and I am not going to take you through some sopping story beyond it. It is just a different setting with a different start. I feel it hundred times a day and wont shy away from saying it again that I feel blessed to have Ridhima, my dear daughter into my life.

Was to reach home early today. Left office at 6.15pm and rushed to complete the police verification formalities at the police station. It was supposed to be an interesting day and the climax was coming. There was thumping sound as a toppled on one of the objects lying on the highway and guess what? It was a tyre burst and I needed to drag my bike until I found some mechanic to help me. Hope arrived in the darkness and I spent the next hour at a dark makeshift puncture shop in the middle of nowhere. It was 8pm by then and I was late by more than an hour to reach Police Station . Cursing my fate I somehow reached there gathering every bit of what has happened to me to explain why I was late. There was hardly anything to worry and I was told to go home within 30 minutes of interrogation.

Sooner the better, happily I hurried home to meet the sparkling eyes of my baby. I missed the way she greets me through her smiling face when she comes at the door in her mother's lap to as if receive her papa. For the next 30 minutes I played with her and then we both  exhausted ourselves. She went to her mother to get some recharge and I waited for my snacks to arrive.

We have not started feeding her anything beyond her mother's milk and are pretty confused as in what to start with. Rinku looked at the web also and came out with more questions than answer. We need to figure this out soon...
