Week 50 - Daughter Diary

Angel Completing 50 glorious weeks
Ridhima got her 7th teeth now and ofcourse she is not bothered about these mundane updates. She has pretty much other things that keeps her occupied. Her mom has been on her toes since my parents left. My little one likes to create mess around the house indicating that she will have a disruptive nature quite opposite to her mom who has devoted her life to keep things neat and tidy around Ridhima.

Week 50 - Daughter Diary
I was talking to my in laws a while ago when Ridhima who was playing by me holding the sofa, screamed. It was not her usual cry, I hung up the phone to attend her; Rinku was dying her hair and was helpless to respond quickly. I took my girl into my arms and started to loll her around but as if the pain was severe and she perhaps hurt her figures between the two wooden sofas it was not enough solace. She kept on crying leaving her mother to leave everything and rush to rescue her. It took us a while when she normalized. We are still at sea as in what has happened to her, we just could not find any such wound or something on her hand. She is now sleeping after a long hour of restlessness. Hope things go fine when she wakes up.

Week 50 - Daughter Diary
The news worth mentioning is, she has started to go easy with the outside food and she has been kept on a strict health regime by her efficient mother. She goes for cerelac along with milk in the morning, a mixed preparation of rice, lentil, vegetables and nuts in the afternoon that might get used twice. And she takes something (some grain dust) with milk for her supper and immediately goes to sleep. Whenever I am home I play the role of an entertainer when she eats. She likes it that way.

Ridhima now knows and speaks a lot of words and would start to think if she doesn’t know something or ultimately ignore it. She listens to my stories, well, she seems to dislike the repetition part of it though, where would I get fresh stories every time? Still I mix and match. I need to learn new stories as she is growing rapidly and she would need more of them, soon.

The best part when she opens her lazy eyes in the morning she would just look at me and whisper “Pa-Pa”. That! It is worth everything in this world.
