Year II Week 3 - Daughter Diary

I do not know if it was deliberate or I just could not update the weekly post I am supposed to. Whatever may be the case I am feeling bad for it. I cannot say it was so busy a week that I could not manage to take out 30 minutes to take care of it. I rather felt too lazy to stay at the top of it.

Ridhima has got a couple of more teeth that now adorns her with all the glory. She has got more teeth into her armory with the arrival of the new set of pearls. It is increasingly becoming difficult for us to pluck out any unwanted stuff that she likes putting into her mouth every now and then. She screams more and one of my friends said this is how it should be, so that’s just fine as long as she does not do it in the middle of the night. She has been a very understanding child otherwise. She seldom wakes up in the night or wet her bed either.
She recently got a taste of Candy Crush last week and did she like it! Of course she did! She snatched the phone from me to take that into her custody and made some scores as well. It was ok for 10 minutes and then she almost threw my phone on the floor to carry on with her exciting life otherwise. Digital world has its limitations and she did not appear comfortable with limits, however colourful it may appear.

She would now directly look into the eyes and understands signals. It is just so exciting for me. I find it easier now to play with her specially when I roll my eyes and she laughs out louds with giggles. The selfless faces that she makes take the word ‘innocence’ to another level. I feel so proud.

She now knows how to make me sleep “Ni Ni”. The moment you say “Ni ni” she would just grab your head with tiny little hands and put it into her lap and tap on the head. The speed with which she walks has increased many times reducing the reaction times. She is game for going out at any time of the day and with almost anyone. But the moment you start moving downstairs she would look into your eyes making them big and keep on asking “Mama? Mamma?” till she sees her mom following her.
