Ridhima now sings and has a favourite-list of songs she lip sinks and shake a leg or two too, sometimes her mother and I give her company. She mostly loves the dance numbers and gets bored the moment we start listening to anything that is soft or slow. She would simply compel us to shut the music off and rather watch her cartoon on TV. Here too she has a list of her favourites. Indian cartoon characters such as Krish, Motu Patlu, Chhota Bheem are preferred over Doremons and Ben10s of the world.
We bought her a pair of socks yesterday and she has not removed them since. When she is tired of wearing them on her feet she makes good use of her tiny little hands. We never thought socks could be this existing.
It’s been raining heavily from last couple of days and we are sort of on a house arrest. We went shopping for home essentials in the two hour weather window we luckily got yesterday. Ridhima has a double sleep cycle- she takes siesta in the afternoon. We tried the entire afternoon to put her to sleep and she didn't buzz leaving us exhausted gasping for breath. It was almost 5 pm when we found her sleeping on the sofa on her own.
After a couple of hours of sleep she is now all awake and we are heading to a friend’s house for a small get together.
