Week 23 - Daughter Diary

Ridhima sings aloud now. She knows how to keep her mother close to her and how to cry and call her. She has developed her own weird ways of sleeping with all those impossible postures you cannot think of. She now stares at things as if thinking deeply about something and would smile when she think she should. It is increasingly becoming difficult to keep her at one place in the bed as she flips on sides and tries to crawl. She is doing it now as I am writing this. Oh! she has just pulled the wire through her leg and internet went kaput. When I looked at her she is giving me an ear to ear smile inviting me to play. We have to confine her between two pillows and she would raise her look at you and smile. Rinku would say anything and her standard reply would be an infectious smile with all her gums on display and cooing sound of grace and joy. The other change is, she wants to know about everything. Everything!

It was yesterday when she has become 23 weeks old and a good day for me. Making a passport seemed to me the hardest thing in the world. One fine morning in November it so happened that I wanted to apply online and made the payment for an appointment instantly. 17th dec at 11.15 AM was the schedule that flashed on the screen to meet the officials with all the proof that i ever have to prove myself that I am me. It was yesterday when I reached the Thane Passport Office almost terrified about the way the gov. officials work. I had the originals documents and everything but did not have the xerox copies of the docs. i quickly had to excuse the queue and get that done. Anyways, the office was nice and officials were quite courteous and surprisingly efficient. Probably because the whole show has now been managed by TCS with a little involvement of the gov. officials at the top. It was confirmed at the end of the day that I am good with the docs and can proceed with the police verification. Whoo!

Daughter Diary
The other good thing that has been happening with me is I am going through a very nice book that has an illustrative and deeply relevant explanation of The Geeta. It seems to me that I will get a lot of answers of my problems in it. This book has been gifted to me by an online friend who wanted me to read this. I owe him my change.

And Mom, Dad will be reaching here this Sunday what else do you want from life - money! It will come by it self. Stop chasing it!
